“The commander of the guard took as prisoners
Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest next in rank and the three
doorkeepers. There at Riblah, in the land of Hamath, the king had them

Jesus, I think about these priests and
wonder how faithful they were to You. Were they warning the people? Were they
confronting the kings with their sin? Help me stand up for what I believe so
that I won’t be a false witness bearing Your name.
