and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking
for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people.”

Jesus, the chief priests and teachers
of the law were afraid of Your followers, so they wanted to get rid of You in
private. Help me not to be afraid of what others say about You today so that
I’m never tempted to get rid of You in my own life. Make me a bold witness for
You who only wants to share Your love, not give into pressure from those who
don’t know You.
