1 Peter 5:11
All power to Him forever! Amen.
I heard this the other day, but God has put it on my heart to share again! See, Peter knew that there are sins and things of this world that have power but that God has all the power! Fear has some power, but our God has more! Sexual immorality has some power, but our God has more!! Shame, guilt, greed – all these things have power, but our God has more!!
We serve the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, and He is more powerful than all these things combined!! He isn’t going to back down ever or stop fighting for you! We serve a God of love but also a God of justice, mercy, faithfulness, genuiness, and Power!!! If God wasn’t more powerful than all these things, then why would we serve Him? If we could defeat these things without Him, we wouldn’t need Him, but we can’t defeat them on our own! Only the One true and Living God can conquer all this world can throw at us and bring us out of it smelling like roses (LOL)!!
Jesus Christ’s blood and sacrifice were more than enough to save our souls, but He doesn’t want to stop there!! He doesn’t want to see us struggle through this life and barely make it to Heaven. He wants us to dominate and excel here, bringing as many people with us when we go home!! If you don’t believe me, try Him for yourself and I’m sure you will be happily surprised!!
