A Prayer to Start the Day
Papa God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, how mighty is Your love, how thorough Your forgiveness. Though I deserve death, You gave me Life. Though I was Your enemy, You gave Your Son in my stead. Thank You, Lord, for redeeming me even before You created me and calling me Your own!
Papa, I ask for eyes to see You move, ears to hear You, and a heart to follow You in faith! I pray that Your Word would saturate my life, my heart, and my mind. Let it be more important to me than the beat in my chest or the breath in my lungs. Let it be the path that I walk and the light to see the path. Let Your Word be the plumb line of my life and let everything I do flow from it!
Thank You, King Jesus, for Your mercy, grace, and love that are new every day and surrounds me in both the valleys and the mountaintops! Help me today to share Your Gospel correctly, accurately, and boldly! Let me exchange my heart for Yours, my mind for Yours, my love for Yours!
Holy Spirit, You are welcome here. Please teach me to walk in step with You, not getting impatient and running ahead or being lazy and lagging behind, but let me walk boldly and confidently with You, in You, and for You! Let my flesh die so that Jesus Christ can live in me and through me!
Praise the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!!!
