Romans 14:12
So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
Let me first say Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and because of that, my sins are forgiven. With that being said, I am still accountable for what I do or don’t do while on this earth. What I don’t want to have to do is one day look Jesus in the face and have Him ask me why I didn’t go when He sent me or why I didn’t share when He put it on my heart to do so! Or say to me, “I sent you to share with them because I love them as much as I love you, but you didn’t go; why???? Because of pride, or laziness, or busyness??”
We are the Church, and now is our time to let Jesus’ light shine in this dark world!!!! I personally am going to try to let Him shine through me more each day!! I had a pastor at MACI that used to say, “When you light a match and get it close to another match, it doesn’t ask the second match, ‘Dou mind if I light you on fire?’” It just does it, and the same can be said about the love of Jesus through each of us, so let’s get out there and burn with the Love of Christ!!!!!
