Galatians 2:20 Scripture Meditation by Stephen Taylor

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

I SURRENDER!!! In the world, these words mean defeat, but in the Kingdom, these words make you dangerous! Surrendering to God doesn’t mean you give up; it means you’re giving it up to Him, and it doesn’t mean you stop fighting, but rather allow Him to show you how to fight successfully!!!

Yesterday, I saw this written all over my guys’ faces first thing in the morning. I came out of the house next door and could see directly into our dining room, and what I saw brought me to tears. I instantly thanked the Lord for what He is doing!!! I saw the guys all sitting around the table smiling, laughing, and surrendering to Christ a little more each day. A month ago, these guys were strangers and didn’t care to change that. Now that they have surrendered, they love on one another, encourage one another, and yes, they still annoy one another, but they rebound and recenter on Jesus and get through it.

We don’t have to do this thing called life alone. We can have a personal relationship with Jesus and with those around us who serve Him also! I always thought surrendering made you weak, but it’s the exact opposite. It makes you a dangerous disciple of Christ, and it draws you into the Father’s arms. I surrendered to the Lamb and now I have the Lion fighting for me, and trust me, it’s the best decision I ever made!!!

I encourage you to surrender daily to the Lord and watch your victory take shape in Him!!!

Be encouraged and be encouraging!!! I love you all, God bless, and glory to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit!!!
