Job 36:7 Scripture Meditation by Stephen Taylor

Job 36:7

“He does not take his eyes off the righteous; He enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.”

I’m so thankful that being made righteous is not based on acts or deeds but on the act of full surrender by Jesus Christ and His resurrection from the dead!

Think about how much the stress, anxiety, fear and doubt would grip us if we walked around wondering if we have done enough to be counted as righteous. That would be paralyzing to me and would make me absolutely ineffective in every area of my life. If God kept track of our rights and wrongs, and that determined our eternal destination, we would all be doomed!

But thankfully, Jesus took care of that once and for all on the Cross and in the empty tomb! The Bible tells us our righteous deeds are like dirty rags (Isaiah 64:6). There is a visual for you!

This verse gives me hope and comfort knowing He sees me always, on the mountains and in the valleys. When I feel like He is far off, He is still there with me, watching over me! We are made righteous through our faith in Jesus Christ, and because of Christ’s righteousness in us, we are forgiven and will be with Him forever!

Take comfort on this trip knowing that He sees you, He hears you, and He was willing to give everything for you! Righteousness is a gift given to those who repent, believe, and have faith in the Lord!

Colossians 3:3: For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

Nothing is hidden from God, but trust me, we all want to be hidden with Him! I love you all! God bless and Glory, Honor, and Praise to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
