Scope of the Training: In this course, you will plan out worship services and practice both leading worship in a church service and building and managing a worship team.

Action: Discuss what worship is and the biblical foundations for worship. What does God command as to how He is to be worshiped?

Action: Discuss the most effective way to lead people into worship in your congregation. Does worship need to be emotional?

3. What Worship Leaders Need to Stop Doing

Action: Discuss your plan for avoiding the 7 pitfalls discussed in this video.

 

4. Watch Worship is More than Music

Action: Discuss what other elements your church might use besides a time of teaching and singing to worship God. Include both traditional and creative elements.

Include who your expected audience will be, approximately how much time you will have during each session, the order of service, the theme for the day, what songs you will use, what you might say before or after songs, etc.
