1 Corinthians 3:6-7 Scripture Meditation by Stephen Taylor

1 Corinthians 3:6-7

So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

As I was laying in bed last night, God brought a question to my mind: how do plants grow? So, I answered, “Food, water, and sunlight.”

Then it dawned on me. He was showing me that like the plants, we also need these three things to grow in Him, and they are all found in Jesus!

He is the Bread of Life, the Living Water, and the Light of the World! I love the way it’s so complex, yet so simple at the same time! No one wants to get “planted,” but once we break through the surface to the light of day, it will all be worth it! You can’t physically see the grass grow, but don’t mow for a couple of weeks and you will see the change!

We’re the same way. It may not be as quick as I would like it to be, but little by little, I’m growing, and so can you! Growing can be slow, painful, and scary, but we’re not doing it on our own! We have the Lion of Judah giving us everything we need to succeed!! So, let’s let Jesus grow in us, grow through us, and grow on us!

I love you all, God bless you, and let there be Glory to God now and forever!!!!
