Ecclesiastes 9:4
Anyone who is among the living has hope. Even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!
It’s not too late!! My mind went to the crucifixion of Jesus and the criminals with Him. The one decided to be proud, angry, and vicious, but the other one knew he was getting what he deserved and humbly asked for Jesus’ help. Jesus then told him he would be in paradise with Him that day!
That prisoner didn’t do anything for Jesus or His kingdom. He didn’t win any converts, he didn’t share the gospel with anyone, and he didn’t give to the poor or help the widows! It’s not about what we can do for Jesus but who Jesus is in our lives!! No matter where you are or what you have done, God will forgive if you accept his Son as Lord and Savior!!
That doesn’t give us free reign to live however we want, but it does give us hope as long as we have breath that we can be saved!! God can overcome anything and will meet you right at your worst moment!! So, don’t believe the lie that your sins are too great or that God doesn’t love you – because He does!! He proved that by sending his Son for us!!
We all have pasts, and we all have junk, but thankfully, there is One who wants you just the way you are!!! Thank You, Jesus!!!!!
