Psalm 23:5
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil my cup overflows.
I love all of Psalm 23, but this verse has been sticking out to me recently. Just the calmness and security we have with God by our sides in the midst of turmoil! He doesn’t want a quick snack or anything rushed but wants to take the time to prepare a feast for Him and I to share together! God wants to have a picnic with me in the middle of all this chaos! He wants to know my hurts, my fears, my concerns, and He wants to know how much I love Him!
That personally gives me a great sense of peace knowing God’s not worried about everything going on around me, so I should not be worried either!! Sometimes easier said than done, but I’m going to try and do a little better each day!!!
