Ezekiel 26:12 Devotion by Stephen Taylor

Ezekiel 26:12

They will plunder your wealth and loot your merchandise; they will break down your walls and demolish your fine houses and throw your stones, timber, and rubble into the sea.

and

Micah 7:19 - You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Something’s getting thrown into the sea, but who you belong to will determine what that is! Your enemy wants to tear you down and throw you into the sea, never to be heard from again, but the Lord wants to throw your sins into it, never to be remembered again. Which one sounds better to you? Because only through Jesus Christ can we be pardoned and saved! It’s not by works or deeds but by grace through faith in Jesus!

I know that the mercy and grace of the Lord are more than I could ever imagine and far more than I deserve. His loving faithfulness and salvation are the bedrock for true life, both now and forever. If we belong to Christ, we are eternally His. No power or principality can take us from Him. How great it is to be known by the Savior. To be a sheep in His pasture, a pasture full of His goodness, mercy, and grace. A pasture not free from hardship, pain, or trials but free from condemnation and eternal separation from the Presence of God!

In His pasture, you will face troubles, but you will never face them alone! Take your sins and yourself to the foot of the cross and watch where He puts them – your sins in the sea and yourself on His lap! Thank You, Lord!

Matthew 11:28-30 - “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

John 16:33 - “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

God bless! I love you all! Glory, Honor, and Praise now and forever to Papa God, Jesus Christ, our Living Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit who counsels and comforts us!
