Revelation 4:8
Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night, they never stop saying: “’ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.”
People have free will, and angels even have free will, so it would make sense to me that these “living creatures” also have free will. And what do they choose to do with that free will? Worship the Lord God Almighty, non-stop. All day, every day, they are praising the One who is worthy! What if we could take a page out of their playbook and do this in our lives?
Obviously, we can’t just sit in our homes worshipping God all day; we have responsibilities both to Him and to those around us. We can’t sow a seed if we’re never in the field! But what if our lifestyle was one of worship? What if, night and day, we lived a life that said, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty”? How great a song of worship is a surrendered life to the Lord!
I believe that He calls us to a lifestyle of worship, one we live in Him, through Him, by Him, and for Him! I don’t know about you, but I want my God to know how much I love, respect, fear, and worship Him by the way I live my life and the heart posture I have!
Every day, we get to walk in worship. The question is will it be worship of God or of our flesh?
Galatians 5:16- So, I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Galatians 5:25- Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
