Job 37 Devotions by Stephen Taylor

Job 37:21-24

“Now no one can look at the sun, bright as it is in the skies after the wind has swept them clean. Out of the north He comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty. The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in His justice and great righteousness, He does not oppress. Therefore, people revere Him, for does He not have regard for all the wise in heart?"

Who is like our God? He is the One who commands creation, and it obeys. He is the One who sees everything at all times and misses nothing. He is the One that understands every mystery and knows every human heart. No human wisdom can compare to His, no human strength can even come close to matching His, and no plan can succeed against His will. He is the Alpha and the Omega!

We can't truly even begin to comprehend just how awesome and powerful our God is! Which makes the fact that Jesus came to us all the sweeter. We couldn't get to Him, so He came to us. He knew that we were desperately lost, with no hope of reaching the place He had for us, so He came and redeemed us. He made the way because, without Him, there was no way.

In other religions, man has to earn or make his own way to god, but in the one true religion, God made the way for man. It's yet another beautiful picture of our God's heart. For what mere man can ascend on High unless the Almighty brings him? How cruel these other false religions are to charge man with the impossible task of earning their way to a paradise and a god that doesn't exist. They fool man into thinking there are many gods or different ones, but the truth is there is but one Father, one Son, and one Spirit.

And They set out on a mission many years ago to set the captives free and fill Their halls with thanksgiving! This mission still goes on today. Are you involved?

Psalm 100:1-5- A psalm. For giving grateful praise. Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.

God bless! I love you all, but trust me, He loves you way more! Glory, honor, and praise now and forever to Papa God, Jesus Christ our King, and the Holy Spirit!
