Habakkuk 1:4-5
“Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted. Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if you were told.”
As I was reading this verse this morning, God poured it into me that verse 4 is the world we are living in now, but verse 5 is coming!! Verse 4 is the end of this complaint, and verse 5 is the LORD’s answer! How great a God we serve that even though this world is crashing down around us, He is still in control and has a plan! He is saying, “Don’t lose heart, guys, keep it up because I’m coming back and I’m going to do something so amazing you can’t even fathom it!!”
Stop and think about that! How amazing a promise that is, that our God knows us and hasn’t forgotten about us!! Things are tough, and the world is crashing down around us, but there is One who is a firm, unchanging foundation!! Jesus Christ!!!
The world is starving for the love and peace that comes from knowing Jesus, so let’s help them out!! Put your trust in Him and love on someone today!! No matter what happens, you can be sure you’re in the greatest hands possible!! Don’t let verse 4 keep you from your verse 5!!!
