Exodus 14:13-14 Scripture Meditation by Stephen Taylor

Exodus 14:13-14

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

This is speaking to me on so many levels. It says that today you will see the deliverance, not when God gets around to it or when it’s convenient but today you will see it! This is so tough for me sometimes to remember, that no matter what, God is my refuge, and He is in my corner. I often let worries or fears crowd out my peace, and I try to look at them with human solutions, but, my friends, that only leads me further down the rabbit hole. It’s not until I sit at my Father’s feet and “be still” that I remember He is in control and He always has my best interests in mind!

This doesn’t mean I won’t face hard times or challenges, but it means I don’t have to face them alone. We serve a God who not only saved us from Hell but fights for us daily!

Artie Jeffrey Woods posted something yesterday, and I loved it. It said, “God has never lost a battle, and He’s not going to start by losing yours!” We serve a Mighty God and He loves you more than you could imagine!

I love you all! God bless you, and Give our mighty God all the praise you can daily!!
