Elijah, the Bold and Fearful Prophet
1. Elijah Fed by Ravens - 1 Kings 17:1-6. God is the only one with power over nature, and He can provide for us.
2. God Provides Behind Enemy Lines - 1 Kings 17:7-16. God is in control everywhere.
3. Elijah in the Midst of Tragedy - 1 Kings 17:17-24. God has power over life and death, and He answers our prayers.
4. Showdown on Mount Carmel - 1 Kings 18:16-46. God wants to reveal Himself to us, and He does so in powerful ways.
5. God's Gentleness - 1 Kings 19:1-19. God wants to reveal Himself to us, and He does in subtle ways.

9. Elijah in the New Testament - Luke 9:28-36; Romans 10:1-10; James 5:13-20. Elijah's example continues to teach us about God's glory, grace, and prayer.
